Pilibhit Tiger Reserve Safari – Zone 1
One of India’s least visited and most extraordinary tiger reserves — a forest that rewards the curious.
Description:
Pilibhit Tiger Reserve sits in the Terai arc landscape of northern Uttar Pradesh — a dense belt of sal forests, grasslands, and river systems along the Nepal border supporting one of India’s healthiest tiger populations.
Unlike the crowded circuits of Ranthambore or Corbett, Pilibhit remains largely undiscovered by mainstream tourism. The forest is quieter, the sightings more intimate, and the experience far closer to what wildlife travel is actually supposed to feel like.
The reserve is also home to leopards, elephants, gharials, swamp deer, and over 400 species of birds.
